Where to start with Privilege? Stepping into the world’s largest club with 10,000 people inside it is a sight to behold. The club previously known as Ku rose to fame in the 90s as it hosted weekly Manumission parties. The sheer size of the main room makes you question if you are really in a club, or a multi-roomed arena. Indeed, many of the acts at Privilege are used to playing in front of tens of thousands as opposed to hundreds of people: the likes of Snoop Dogg, Jamiroquai and Infected Mushroom all performed one off shows in 2011.
Located in the middle of the island, close to Amnesia, the Privilege logo stands out from afar on the large lattice dome which is both an entrance into the club as well as a place to relax and take in a view of Ibiza. The “small room”, Coco Loco, is the size of a boutique club itself. A swimming pool in the middle of the club? Why not.
A perfect setting for globally famous DJs such as Tiësto, who plays every Monday night, Privilege is very much the epitomy of a superclub. Privilege is all about big, and that’s what you should expect when heading there.
